WEDDING FILMED

All the originality and picturesqueness that might be expected of an artist’s daughter was seen at the wedding of Miss Monica Salisbury, daughter of Mr. Frank O. Salisbury, to Mr. Leonard R. Norris. Miss Salisbury, like her sister, Mrs. Douglas Crighton, had a film “shot” of her wedding. The masses of pink gladioli and Madonna lilies that decorated the church of St. Mark’s, reflected the pure white of the bride’s dress, and the soft pink of the frocks of her six maids. The bride had chosen an exquisite picture frock of Alencon net over ivory meteor, trimmed with velvet leaves sprinkled with diamante. Her tulle veil, which was held by a head-dress of orange blossom, fell the whole length of her train, which was made of the same net as her own and embroidered with silver and diamante. She carried a shower bouquet of white carnations, lilies of the valley, and white heather. The bride’s six attendants wore early Victorian dresses of pale rose pink net, trimmed with innumerable tiny frills, which gave a crinoline effect, and sashes of pink ribbon encircled the waists. They carried bouquets of rosebuds in their hair. Mr. Salisbury’s royal and historical portraits are very well-known. Many artist friends of the bride’s family were in the large congregation.
