Reduction of Members By Telegraph.—Press .Association. Whangarei, November 25. Speaking to a big meeting of representative Reformers at Maungaturoto yesterday the chairman/. Mr. H. *W. Crawford, of Whangarei, urged a reduction of members of Parliament by one-third to ensure greater expedition in the handling of the business- of the State and reducing the cost of government, which, he said, was now altogether too great.
