BROAD LEADING
Butler and Thorn Next FLIGHT ROUND EUROPE Loudon, July 24. Two British Moth aeroplanes, piloted respectively by Mr. Alan Butler and Captain Broad, were the first to reach Nimes from Barcelona to-day in the Circuit of Europe Race. They arrived in the control within five minutes of each other, Butler leading. CaptainBroad, however, arrived at Lausanne ahead of Butler and Thom. The course from Lausanne is across Switzerland, Southern Germany, and Austria, to Poland, and then back to the starting point, Berlin, by way of Danzig.
