EMPIRE GAMES
Teams at Hamilton NEW ZEALANDERS AT WORK (Rec. July 25, 5.5 p.m.) Vancouver, July 24. Arthur Eastwood, the New Zealand rowing man who was 411, supposedly as a result .'of the change in climate, is now out of hospital, according to a message from Hamilton. Four eight-oared shells for the New Zealanders have arrived, as well as Pearce’s boat. To-day practically all the New Zealanders and Australian athletes got down to work. They express the greatest satisfaction with the comfort of their quarters. The New Zealand scullers are fraternising with members of the local Leander Club, with whom they will train. The arrival of the Australians and New Zealanders has renewed enthusiasm and interest in the Games.
