MOTORISTS’ OFFENCES
Masterton By-law Cases Masterton, July 25. The following by-law cases were dealt with by Mr. J. Miller, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court this morning:— For parking his car in Club Street, Archibald Victor Anderson was fined 10/and 12/- costs. H. H. Dimond was fined 10/- and 10/- costs on a similar charge. R. D. Spedding was fined £1 and 10/costs for driving a car in Queen Street without sufficient lights. On a similar charge J. H. Manning was fined 10/and 10/- costs. James H. Dryden was fined 10/- and 10/- costs for parking his car more than three feet away from the kerb. Parking his car .on the wrong side of the road cost Alfred Caselberg 10/- and 10/- costs. J. A. Marshall was fined £1 and 22/6 costs for having a trailer with a dangerous load attached to his car. Alexander Rutherford was fined 10/and 10/- costs for driving an unregistered car. z Driving at a speed that might be dangerous cost R. I). Makgill £3 and 10/costs. Alfred W. Hancock was fined 10/- and 5/- costs for not having a driver’s license. D. E. Blake was fined £2 and 15/- costs on a similar charge. William Todd was fined £1 and £l/1/6 costs for failing to keep to the left of thh traffic dome at i street intersection. Keeping an unregistered dog cost W. Grantham 15/- and 20/6 costs. Alfred Goodgayne and T. Carrol were fined 5/- and 17/6 costs each for riding bicycles without lights. T. Gadsby was fined 10/- and 10/costs for allowing stock to wander on the highway. On a similar charge J. Siemonek was dismissed.
