Wanganui, July 25. . Mr. Hubert Carter, the well-known tenor, gave his seventh recital in the Waganul Opera House on Wednesday evening, to an appreciative audience. Wanganui school girls will hold their annual hoekey tournament on August 16 at Glenville Park. On Saturday Taranaki hockey players meet Wanganui in a match for the Norden Cup.
