DANCE AT KAITOKE.
A very enjoyable dance was held at Kaitoke School last week. The school had been deeorated with streamers for the occasion and about 28 couples were ou the floor. The M.C. was Mr. B. Williams. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Mrs. Clare and a lucky spot by Miss Dodd. The music was supplied bv A. Whitman and “extras" were played by blisses Dodd and V. Osborne. Among the ladies present were Mesdames rinrc Reeves, Gibbons, Hunter, Misses A. Collie, V. O’Brien,. Dodd, McEwen, Osborne, Field and Reid. The Victoria League gave a reception to Lord and Lady Bledisloe and Mr and Mrs. T. M. Wilford,- states a Press Association message from London Lord and Lady Forster received a hundred and fifty guests, including sixty New Zealanders. The Duchesses of Atholl and Somerset, the Countesses of Jersey, Minto, and Dartrey, Ladies Ludlow, Carmichael, Leconfield, Ebbisham, DynevOr, Emmott, and Strathspey, and also the High Commissioners for the Dominions, and AgentsGeneral and their wives were present.
