A spectacular event w’hich will be on the programme of the next swimming carnival in the Te Aro Baths will be a rolling log competition. Two men will stand on a log and keep it rolling by means of their feet, and the one who survives this form of the treadmill the longest will be the winner. The member of the Wellington Centre who suggested the item, admitted that he received the idea through seeing a somewhat similar prformance on the screen.
