Wanganui- December 27.
The Christmas bowling tournament in Wanganui was continued to-day. The morning was fine, but during the afternoon a gusty wind made play difficult, especially on the St. John’s and Gonville greens.-A number of games were finished in rain. Following are the results of to-day’s play:— A Section. —Kirkwood, 6 wins, no losses; Gordon, 5, I - Fyfe, 5,1; Fielding, 3,2; Parks, 3,3; Galbraith, 2,4; Harkness, 2,4; Stewart, 1,4; Brown, 1, 5; Allomes, 1, 5. B Section.—Benefield, 6 wins, no losses; Moffatt, /, 1; Goodey, 4,2; Squire. 3,2: Tilley, 3,2; Upton, 2,4;. Price, 2,3; Havler, 1,4; Tomkies, 1,5; Bowater, 1, 5. ' C Section.—Simmonds, 6 wins, . no losses; Armstrong, 5,1; Scrivener, 5, I; Harris. 4. 2; London, 4. 2; Lancaster, 2,4; Williams, 2,4; Handley, 1,5; Wilson, .1, 5; Bond, nil, 6.
