CUNDY-CAMERON.

On Wednesday afternoon the wedding took place at “Moeraki,” Hinakura, of Ann Stewart;'eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Cameron, of Moeraki, to Rawei Tama, only son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Cundy, of Featherston. The wedding was celebrated in the garden at “Moeraki,” under an archway, from which hung a beautiful wedding bell of i>ink roses. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. Hardie. TLa bride was in a frock of creme panne, velvet, plainly cut, with long tight sleeves. The long train was attached to the waist with a pearl buckle. A veil of old honiton lace was arranged with orange blossoms and a sheaf of arum lilies ' was carried. The bridesmaids were Miss Esther Cameron, a sister of the bride, and Miss D. Sadlier, of Nelson. They wore picture frocks of geranium pink georgette, long and ■:with. um.eyen hemline; Rows of small jrills were/down-one: side'of'.'the skirt, while the other side .was flared. They wore fawn straw hats, fawn stockings and pink shoes. The best man was Dr. Trevor Palmer, of Wellington, and the groomsman was Mr, Trevor Hume, of Pirinoa. Mrs. Cameron, mother of, the bride, wore a frock of blue georgette and lace and blue velvet hat with a piny posy. Hef coat was also blue georgette and she carried a bouquet of pink roses. Mrs. Cundy’s frock was of black lace with a large dihmante buckle, and her hat wns of black laee straw. She carried a bouquet of apricot coloured flowers. Miss Mary Cameron wore a frock of navy faille taffeta covered with pink rosebuds worked in cross-stitch. She wore a navy straw hat and navy kid shoes. Mrs. W. S. Cameron wore a frock of silver grey georgette with a little cape and .silver , grey shoes and stockings. Her hat was deep blue and she carried a pink. posy. Miss Kirtsy Cameron wore a white frock, as did Miss Una Roberts.

Her hat was of beige straw with wine band and parrot ornament. Her handbag matched her frock.

A wedding of interest was celebrated at St. Mark's Church, when Jean, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Hawkins, of Brooklyn, was married to Walter, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Day, of Wellington. The officiating minister was the Rev. T. Feilden Taylor. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a gown of ivory satin, the bodice being tightly fitting, the sleeves long over the hand in a point, and fully Haired skirt, ankle length at the back. The veil was of tulle, held to the head by small clusters of orange-blossom over each ear and a sheaf of tinted roses was carried. The bridesmaid, Miss Isla Hawkins, wore a frock of daffodil georgette, and bat of palest beige. She carried a bouquet of roses in pastel tunings. The best man was Mr. Stewart Day. Following the ceremony, a reception was held. Mrs. Hawkins wore a frock of black georgette with insets of lace, black silk coat and a black hat. A bouquet of crimson roses was carried. Mrs. Day was in a toast-coloured ensemble, a Bangkok hat in a beige shade with soft feather mount, and she carried a bouquet of autumn tinted roses. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Day left later by car for the north, the latter wearing a frock of floral georgette over which was worn a navy silk coat, and a bat of beige straw.
