CHILD RUN OVER
FOOT AMPUTATED. By Telegraph.—Press Auckland,. November 27. While running across the road after buying some sweets at a shop, Elaine Bowdlcr, aged 4 years, whose parents reside in Symonds Street, was struck by a tramcar opposite the gate of her -home yesterday. The child’s ankle was so severely injured that the foot had to be amputated at the Auckland Hospital.
