REFRIGERATION PROBLEMS

ENGINEERS’ CONFERENCE. The annual conference of refrigerating engineers, convened by the N.Z. Meat Producers’ Board, will be held to-day in the Dominion Farmers’ Institute. Considerable importance attaches to the meeting, which will be attended by the eminent English scientists, Dr. Ezer Griffiths, F.R.S., of the National Physics Laboratory, and Dr. Vickery, of the Cambridge Low Temperature Research Station, who are at present investigating refrigerating and kindred matters in pursuance of an arrangement made between the N.Z. Meat Producers’ Board and Sir William Hardy, chairman of the Food Investigation Board of Great Britain.
