GREYTOWN SHOW Dominion Special Service. Grey town, November 15. Visitors from all parts of the Wairarapa were attracted to the Greytown Horticultural Society’s annual spring show yesterday, which was easily one of the most successful ventures the society has yet staged. Though most unfavourable weather has been experienced during the last few weeks the entries totalled 800, a figure considered highly satisfactory. The Buchanan Rose Bowl for the most points in roses was won by Mrs. J. Martin (Martinborough), while the champion pansy was shown by Mrs. Seharnweber (Masterton). The judges were as follow: —Pot plants and cut blooms, Mr. F. Westbury; decorations, Miss Murray;'fruit and vegetables, Mr. Berriman; home produce, Mrs. Martin. Judges’ awards are as follow:— Pot Plants.—Mrs, Holdcroft, 1 first; Mrs. A. Benseman, ' 1 second; Mrs. Stringfellow, 2 firsts, 2 thirds. The points prize went to Mrs.- Stringfellow witty 8 points.
