MASTERTON CLUB. Masterton, November L The trials during the year proved a success in spite of the bad weather experienced, stated the report of the Masterton Collie Club, presented at the annual meeting to-night. A total of 131 entries bad been received. Assets were shown at £9l 18s- sd. ' . , . The election of officers for the ensuing vear resulted as follows:—-President, Mr. J. M. James (re-elected); vice-presidents, 29 were elected; secretary, Mr. W. N. Madden (re-elected); treasurer, Mr. W. R. S. Willoughby (re-elected); auditor, Mr. b. C. Summerell (re-elected); general committee, Messrs. P. C. Taylor, W. Gordon Laing, W. R. 8. Willoughby, L. R. Wilton, A. Melkle, G. W. Beer, W. Aitken, 8. Thomson, H. McLennan, M. J. 'Wilton, K. Wilton, E. Newland, J. Fernandez, W. W. Parsons, L. D. Camcron, W. H. Mason, W. W. Murray, T. Newland, A. Chorley, C. J. McDonald, T. V. Caverhill, C. 8. Hay, C. McLean, W. Ohara, M. McKenzie. It was decided to apply to the North Island Dog Trial Association for the date of the next trials to be late in March or early in April. _____
