CORRUPTION IN RUSSIA
OFFICIALS SENTENCED TO DEATH (Rec. October 31, 9.50 p.m.) Moscow, October 30. Of 129 Astrakhan officials, including several women, who were arrested on charges of corruption, fourteen were senfenced to death, and 109 to various terms of imprisonment. Six were acquitted.
