BYRD’S DOG TEAM’S LAST LOAD (By Russell Owen. —Special to "New York Times.”) Bay of Whales, October 29. The supporting party reached 81deg. south and dropped the third depot load. They have only a load for the last depot at Sldeg. 45min., and are travelling comparatively light. But between them and that depot is a crevassed region, five miles wide, which Amundsen had difficulty in crossing. They should be at the fourth depot ready to return in three or four days, if the weather is good.
