WORKERS’ WEEKLY TICKETS
A REQUEST REFUSED. Mr. W. 11. Field (Ot:iki> recently made representations to the Government that the issue of workers’ weekly tickets be extended to Plinimerton. Paremata, Poirura, and Tawa Flat. He has now been advsied by the Minister of Railways (Hon. W. B. Taverner) that, after careful consideration, it is regretted that the request cartnot be acceded to.
