WAIPAWA HIGH SCHOOL
4 NEW BUILDING WANTED. Approval of a grant for the rebuilding of the Waipawa District High School is sought in a question given notice of by Sir George Hunter (Waipawa) in the House of Representatives. In a note the member points out that the rebuilding of the school is the first on the list of urgent works by the Hawke s Bay Education Board. The necessity for the undertaking was recognised in 192 b when a new site was purchased. There are two teachers in each of the rooms, the school is old, and the conditions generally are depressing.
