SAFEGUARDING DUTIES BRING REVIVAL Australian Press Assn.—United Service. London, April 30. In the House of Commons, the President of the Board of Trade, Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, in answer to a question, said that since the introduction of safeguarding duties twenty-two silk and artificial factories, eleven mo-tor-car and five motor tire factories had been built in Britain apart from extensions to existing factories.
