BRITISH ELECTIONS
VISCOUNT CECIL’S ADVICE TO A VOTER Australian Press Association. London, April 30. Viscount Cecil, replying to a correspondent asking his advice how to vote at the general election, writes advising the correspondent to disregard all party ties and vote only for candidates who can be trusted to stand for a vigorous progressive peace policy. “I would advise you to vote for a candidate of my party, if times were normal, but the country, and may be civilisation itself, is threatened by an overwhelming catastrophe.”
