ESPERANTO CLUB
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club took place on Tuesday night in the Dominion Farmers’ Institute, Mr. E. C. Jack presiding. At the conclusion of conversation and Instruction classes an interesting programme was carried out. Miss L. Dick gave an amusing Esperanto reading entitled “La Azeno,” which was followed by an address In Esperanto by Mr. Jack on “A Trip Down the West Coast." Miss Coralie Smythson presented In Esperanto the diverting item, “The Lawyer.” Mr. 1?. Potts. F.8.E.A., gave an address in the international language on "The Chinese System of Ideographic Writing,” which was rendered all the more interesting by a blackboard demonstration.
