SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY
Splendid success attended the efforts for the comfort of the seafaring guests of Mrs. W. L. Britton, at her concert at the Sailors’ Friend Society on Tuesday, when encores were liberally responded to. The performers were Mrs. AA r . L. Britton, the Misses Riddell and Broughton, and Messrs. Hamlyn, Lambert, Silver, Hornsby. Mr. Hamlyn was at the piano. ‘‘Come In, Nothing to Fear,” was the temperance subject Mr. J. Moore, missioner, spoke on. Again pledges followed.
