MASTERTON CHAMPIONSHIPS Masterton. April 19. The final games of the Masterton Croquet Club’s season were played yesterday afternoon at the Park greens. The half-hour competition was won by Mesdames Polson and Donnelly, Mr. Dunderdale and Mrs. Betteridge being second. Mrs. Betteridge won the Ftench competition and Mesdames Finlayson and Betteridge won the hurry-scurry. The ladder competition for honorary members was won by Mr. A. J. Brown. The championship winners were as follow: —A grade: Championship rose bowl and miniature cup. Mrs. J. Finlayson. B grade: championship, rose bowl and miniature cup. Mrs. C. Polson. Club handicap singles and Best Memorial Cup: Mrs. C. Polson : runner-up,. Mrs. Betteridge.
