HIGH SCHOOL v. SOLWAY COLLEGE. Mastertoll, March 7. Tennis teams representing Solway Girls’' College and the Wairarapa High School girls met on the High School grounds yesterday, the home team winning by 5 sets to 4, and 42 games to 34. Details are as follow, Solway College players being mentioned first: — Singles.—-E. Johnston beat W. Macintosh, 5 —3; O. Johnston beat M. Slater, 4—6; S. Polson beat M. Butter, 6—l; N. McCalmont beat J. White, 6—2; R. Brown lost to I. Pettit, 4—6; B. Gregor lost to N. McLaren, 4—6. Doubles. —E. and O. Johnston lost to W. Macintosh and M. Slater, o—6; S. Polson and R. Brown beat M.
