An anomaly which appeared in the dangerous drugs regulations “Gazetted” recently will shortly be adjusted by an amendment. It was laid down in the regulations that veterinary surgeons could prescribe dangerous drugs for the treatment of animals, but the definition of veterinary surgeons did not include veterinary practitioners, who were thus debarred from following the ordinary course of their profession.
