ANNIVERSARY DAY EXCURSION
Unlidav-makcrs on Anniversary Day will again have an opportunity of visiting Pieton, Blenheim and the Marlborough Sounds. ' The great popularity of the steamer excursions across the Straits has load the Union Company to arrange an excursion to Picton by the Maori on Tuesday. January 22 (Anniversary Day). She will leave Wellington at S a.m., arriving in Picton about 10.45 a.m. Most of the excursionists will no doubt find their chief interest in Picton. exploring the scenic reserves or taking advantage of the many launch trips about the Sounds, which have been specially arranged; but for those who are minded to take a run to Blenheim, the Kailway Department has arranged a train to suit them. The Maori will leave Picton on the return trip about 2 p.m., arriving at Wellington about 5 p.m.
