WANGANUI ACTIVITIES. Wanganui, January 11, The Dominion championships tournament will be played this season op the Wanganui Croquet Club grounds, and will commence next Wednesday, and as the lawns are in perfect order a successful tournament is anticipated. The lawns have been closed for play for two days to admit Of preparations for the tournament. .On Tuesday afternoon the club’s committee will entertain visiting players to afternoon tea in the club’s pavilion. Visiting competitors are invited to play on the lawns on Tuesday, and thereby acquaint themselves with the condition of them.
