BRITISH PICTURES ON BERENGARIA
CUSTOMS DIFFICULTIES OVERCOME (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, October 30. The difficulties raised by the United States Custom authorities in New York regarding the proposed exhibition of pictures by British artists on board the Cunarder Berengaria have been satisfactorily overcome. The sponsors of the exhibition, Sir Martin Conway and Sir Joseph Duveen, haying fulfilled certain technical formalities at the request of the Customs authorities, a private view of the pictures was held yesterday, and a public view is being held to-day aboard the liner, as originally arranged.
