RIFLE-SHOOTING
PETONE CLUB TEAM SERIES COMPETITIONS. The Petone Rifle Club commenced the team matches at Trentham on Saturday. Williams showed good form with 48 each, followed by A. O’Donnell 47, F. Kershaw and C. Lusty 46 each. The best aggregates were obtained by T.. Warburton and F. Williams (92 each), A. O’Donnell (91), H. Dickson and F. Kershaw (90 each), with others close up. A. O’Donnell’s team won the first team competition with 353 points (F. Williams 92, A. O’Donnell 91, C. Lusty 85, E. Ballinger 85), followed by W. H. Johnston’s team 347, T. Warburton’s team 334, R. H. Nicholl’s team 333, W. H. Ballinger’s team 332. Rifleman A.
