SALVATION ARMY BOY IMMIGRANTS
* TO ARRIVE THIS MONTH A party of 3G boys will arrive in Wellington by the s.s. Corinthic on August 27. They are coming out under the auspices of the Salvation Army. Some of the boys will go into vocational training at the Salvation Army institution at Putaruru, while others will be sent to situations, haying already received vocational training in England. The party is in charge of Adjutant and Mrs. Pratt, two New Zealand officers, who are returning from England on furlough. Adjutant Pratt, who belongs to Stratford, will be remembered as the officer who, while in Sydney, first definitely identified the soldier in Callan Park Hospital as George McQuay, of Stratford, who has now been repatriated to New Zealand.
