ILLEGALLY ON PREMISES
THREE MEN SENTENCED. Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North. July 10. Charged with on July 9, at Palmerston North, without lawful excuse but in circumstances that did not disclose the commission, or the intent to commit, any other offence, being found in a stable in Rangitikci Line, three, men named William John Parkes, Patrick Jepson, and Patrick Whitelaw respectively, appeared, before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Palmerston Magistrate’s Court this morning. All accused pleaded guilty. Sergeant Power stated that the three nien had been about the town for some time, and had taken up their abode in a stable in Rangitikei Line. They had become abusive there, and a a result of complaints they had been arrested. A sentence of 14. days’ imprisonment wit.. hard labour was imposed on each by the Magistrate.
