RUSSIAN EXILES
SOVIET’S DEMANDS ON POLAND THE CASE OF BELA KUN (Rec. May 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, May 12. The Riga correspondent of “The Times” says the Soviet, considering that Poland is showing insufficient energy in making the country safe for Russian representatives, has decided to demand more radical measures against Russian exiles. The “Pravda” demands that Poland shall immediately destroy the White Terrorism in Polish streets, and ridicules Poland’s objection to violating the rights of asylum for political refugees! • It declares that Austria would violate Bela Kun’s right of asylum if she surrendered him to Hungary, and would be tantamount to the abolition of asylum to all revolutionary exiles. It adds: “The bourgeoisie must understand that although they regard Bela Kun as a criminal, he is one of the revolutionist’s foremost and boldest champion, for whom the whole life of the bourgeoisie, especially in Aus-, tria must account.
