MANAWATU DEFEATS WANGANUI

Palmerston North, May 12.

Manawatu and Wanganui Golf Clubs contested a match on the Ilokowhitu links at Palmerston on Saturday afternoon, when conditions were perfect. The home team won 20 of the 37 games played, Wanganui taking 11, while 6 were halved. Results are as follow, Wanganui players being mentioned first in each instance: —J. Goss lost to L. A golf match was played at Masterton to-day between members of the Masterton. and Carterton Golf Chibs. The homo team won by 9 games to 3.
