YOUNG WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED

Palmerston North, May 13.

When riding a horse in Campbell Street, Palmerston North, Rita Boult, aged about 19 years, was thrown on the road by the animal suddenly bolting. She was rendered unconscious, and on being examined by a doctor, was removed to the hospital where she recovered consciousness. A report from hospital late this afternoon stated that she was suffering from .injuries to the head and was in a serious condition.
