M’LAY AT PALMERSTON. Palmerston North, May 12. The finest game of the Association code in Palmerston North was played on North Street Park tills afternoon when Flock House defeated St. Andrews- by 3 goals to 2. The Flock” Monse hoys won the game by their excellent, combination ami team work, which throughout was pleasant tn watch, and at ha'i'-tinie they were in the lead by 2 goals to 1. The visiting team again adopted aggressive tactics in the second spell and until I lie last quarter of an hour had decidedly the bettor of the game. At the end St. Andrews attacked strongly in an attempt to equalise, but the defence of the Flock House team was too good and their victory was acclaimed by the spectators as one-well deserved. For the winning team goals were scored by Stewart. John.and Knowles, and for St. Andrews Corkingdale, and McSheffery netted. In the junior match U.S.A, defeated Athletic by 4 goals to 1. WANGANUI MATCHES.
