PALMERSTON SALESMAN FILES.
Palmerston North, May 12. A petition in bankruptcy lias been filed with the Palmerston North Deputy Official Assignee (Mr. C. Dempsey) by Herbert Taylor, a salesman, of Palmerston. Bankrupt's papers show that there are no assets, while liabilities amount to £123 10s., all owing to unsecured cretlitors. The principal creditors are A. 11. Herbert and Co., Ltd. (PahialtuO. £»0 4s. 4d.; Wellington Woollen Manufacturing C 0.,. Ltd., £3O 17s. 3d.: and the Hunter Manufacturing Co. (Wellington), £ll 15s. 4d. DISCHARGES GRAFTED. The following bankrupts were granted discharges at the Palmerston North Supreme Court this morning by Mr. Justice Ostler: — Melvin David Keith Reid, farmer, ot Otaki; Albert Arthur Whittaker, farmer, of Colyton; Joseph Clatworthy, builder, of Palmerston North; Christopher Ramsey, fruiterer, of Danuevirke; Thomas Montgomery Web, farmer and ..commission agent, of Daipievirke; George Edward Davis, farmer, of Bainesse; Jeffrey Hawthorne Thompson, carrier, of Ormondsville i 'llugh Bartholomew Burrell, garage proprietor, of Feilding; James Dempster Aird, farmer, of Rbngotea; Evan Williams, timber tallyman, of Wellington. An order was made for the public examination of Walter Hedley lord, fruiterer, of Palmerston North.
