MR A. G. BIGNELL B-ELECTED CHAIRMAN.
Wanganui, May 11
Mr. A. G. Bignell was re-elected chairman of the Wanganui Harbour Board for the ensuing year. Returning thanks, he said the predictions as to the revenue and increased business of the port were very satisfactory. According to the Goverument Statistician, Wanganui had'the greatest increase in imports for New Zealand in 1927. Mr. W. Morrison was re-elected deputych airman.
