MIRAMAR PROGRESS ASSOCIATION

EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. Last night at the Miramar South School, the Miramar Progressive Association held its second euchre party and dance As usual, the committee had worked hard for the success of the evening, and there was nothing lacking for the enjoyment of the guests. Prizes were given for the winners at euchre, and a delicious supper was provided by the ladies and the committee. These included Mesdames Floraton (in primrose taffetas). Millar (cyclamen beaded crepe de chine). Wills (old rose crepe de chine), Tucker (cyclamen and gold), Jones (petunia shot silk). Spears (taboo crepe de chine), and Carruthers (navy marocain with touches of fawn). The committeemen present were Messrs. Thornton, Millar. Wills Tucker. Irvine. Spears, Calcinai. Stevenson, Mean, Wellwood, Minifie. and Stone, who acted as MO. Mr. and Mrs. Irvine contributed two songs. Among th< sc present, were: Mesdames Stone (in black marocain), Niven (black velvet with applique in blue). Ogden (frock of black lace over ■’nil red satin).
