R. A. ROSE’S MOVEMENTS
R. A. Rose, the noted long distance runner, who has taken up his residence in Wellington, has at present no definite intentions in regard to future movements, but in conversation with a Dominion representative yesterday he confirmed the report that there is. every likelihood, of Canterbury seeing him in action during the season. Because of an injury to his ankle. Rose lias not lieen training of late, but ho intends to make an early start in preparation for" the New Zealand and Australian cross country championships to be held in Wellington at Christinas, when in all probability he will measure strides with George Hyde, the famous Victorian distance runner.
