Marton, October 3. ■ Advice has been receiled iu Marton to the effect that the foundation stone of the lew Maori Girls’ College, now in course of erection, will be laid by lie GweruOi Genoial (Sir Charles Fergussr.n on October 27. A reception for the distinguished visitor is being arranged by the Maori Mission Committee of the Presbyterian Church, but details as to what form this will take are not yet available.
