THE DUC D’ORLEANS. (Rec. March 29, 7.45 p.m.) Paris, March 29. The Due d’Orleans died at Palermo from pneumonia. He had been ill for several days. The Succession Orleanists claim that the throne of France devolves upon the Duke of Guise.—Svdnev “Sun’’ Cable. ’[Louis Philippe Robert, Due d’Orleans, was the head of the Bour-bon-Orleans House. Born at Twickenham on February 6, 1869, he was the eldest son of the late Comte de Pans, and nephew of the Due de Chartres. He married, in 1896, the Archduchess Marie Dorothea of Austria. In 1886 he was exiled from France. He received a commission in the 60th Rifles, and served in 2ndla in Later he went to Paris, but was aglffi expelled.]
