A NEW MESSIAH

AGA KHAN PROCLAIMED London, March 28. According to a Delhi report certain followers of the Aga Khan, one of the most romantic figures on the English Turf, as well as the greatest religious and political force east of Suez, have proclaimed him the New Messiah. The newspapers point out the enormous spiritual power of this great Moslem, who is a direct descendant of Mohammed and the acknowledged leader of seventy million Mohammedans. It would have, they say, an incalculable effect on India if the millions of lowcaste Hindus could be induced to accept him as the incarnition of Vishnu, one of the supreme Oriental deities.— Sydney "Sun” Cable.
