JUNIOR B. University and Y.M.C.A., the two unbeaten teams in the Junior B championship, concluded their game on Saturday, ’Varsity winning the championship by securing a three-point win by 123 ’Varsity made 254 and Y.M.C.A. 131 (Tilyard 21, Holtz 26, Hayden 49 not out). Bowling for ’Varsity, Duff took four wickets for 34 runs, Hain three for 19, and Mason three for 19. THIRD A. Y.M.C.A., 162 (Mabin 68) defeated Old Boys, 73 and 66. Bowling for Y.M.C.A. Green took six wickets for 13 runs; and for Old Boys, Eliott three for 48. Old Boys, batting . first against Y.M.C.A., made 73 (Sadler 16;. Tn their second innings Old Boys made 59 runs /Elliott 11. Sadler 10, Pengclly 10); total 132 runs. Henderson and Green ware the most successful Y.M.C.A. trundlers. Marshall and Billiaids, Ltd., was won by the former on tne first innings by 22 runs, in an aggregate of 79 to 57. Double scorers or Marshall's were: —Melville 25 and Burke 17; and for Billiards, Ltd., Dunne 15 and Cummings 31. Dunne, of Billiards, Ltd., had the best bowling average, receiving five wickets for 23: and Burke, of Marolinll's, took three for 39.
