A GIRL WITHOUT A HOME
FORCED OUT BY FATHER’S CONDUCT. By Telegraph.—i’u-ss Association. Invercargill, March 26. A girl of 1 A was before the Court u>dav charged with not having a home or settled r lace of abode. The police stated that the girl, one of a family of sixteen, had been forced to leave home through the conduct of her father, who had several times been in an asylum. T' lo mother was now separated from him, and probably the best thing for the girl was to go back to her home. The magistrate adjourned the ease for twelve months, ordering that the. girl in the meantime should be under the care of the probation officer.
