Of the funds necessary for the erection of the new building in Victoria Park, the association had found £250, the borough council finding a like sum. The executive had deemed it advisable to divide the district into sections—east (including Kimbolton, Kiwitea, and Rangawahia), north (Waituna, Tokorangi, Stanway, Halcombe, and Marton), south (Ohakea, Carnarvon, and Feilding. Carnarvon won the Romney Cup and Halcombe, Ohakea, and Rangiwahia proved the winners in their sections of the ladies’ championship and Bramwell Cup.
