LADY CHAMPIONS TO MEET ON MONDAY

Cannes, January 11. The weather is clearing after many hours of continuous rain, with a prospect of Aidlie. Lenglen and Miss Mills meeting on Monday. While the rest of the Riviera is at fever pitch, the two aces aro wondering what all the fuss is about. Miss Wills says: “J shall be mighty glad to have 'the whole thing dime with. However, lam at the top of my form, and I feel that I can easily spring a surprise.” Mdfle. Lenglen is disinclined to discuss the aff'.iir. .She said: “I have every respect for Helen's game, but I cannot see her belting life, since 1 have played and beaten what I consider stronger opponents.
