DEPARTMEK T CONGEATELATED. When moving the adoption of the Milk. Committee's report at last night’smeeting of the city council, tho Mayoi (Mr. C. J. B. Norwood) said he wanted to congratulate tho committee on theii report wll'ch was very satisfactorily indeed. Tho finances of the Milk Department were sound. The committee's recommendation to the council to purchase u storage tank for bulk motor spirit together with a measuring pump was agreed io. Tenders are also to be called for the purchase of 250 gross of quart size milk bottles.
