ST. THOMAS’S SOCIETY LIST OF AWARDS St. Thomas Horticultural Society opened their twenty-seventh summer show yesterday. His Worship tho Mayor (Mr. C. B. Norwood), accompanied by Mrs. and Miss Norwood, were met by the president (Rev. Rooke) and tho treasurer (Mr. Salmon), and made brief speeches appropriate to the occasion. Little Miss Hoche presented the Mayoress with a handsome bouquet, which had been artistically made by Mrs. McGregor. Tho champion blooms are: Roses, Mr. Nicol; carnation, Mr. W. R.
