Although the Government seriously views the Legislative Council's rejection of the Railway Bill, it is unlikely again to threaten to abolish the Upper House this session. Further action will not ire taken until next year. The Legislative Council passed the third reading of the Forty-four Ho/s Week Bill—Press Assn.
