SHUNTING ACCIDENT
PORTER LOSES LEFT LEG By Telegraph.— P”, ess Association. Auckland, November 18. An accident occurred at the Mount Eden railway station this afternoon, A. V. Murphv, ’a porter, who was engaged in shunting a truck from a goods train, slipping on a rail. A wheel of the truck passed over his left leg, which had to be amputated below the knee.
